Juusto Kaira is owned by the Kuusamo cooperative dairy and Arla Ingman. The raw material is produced in northern Finland. Juusto Kaira makes cheese, lactose and protein. Juusto Kaira produces six million kilos of cheese per year: emmenthal, edam, Kuusamo smoked cheese and Pohjanpoika cheese. The popularity of Kuusamo smoked cheese, in particular, is rapidly growing.
