Every summer Taivalkoski arranges the Päätalo Week, which presents the local cultural heritage. During the week there is brisk discussion about Päätalo’s extensive production, and participants can become familiar with cultural presentations and local nature.

The Päätalo event gives many Finnish cultural leaders a unique opportunity to meet face to face with the living countryside and its still preserved authentic traditions.

Material related to Päätalo’s production has been collected into the Päätalo Institute.
